Editorial policy
Silver Racing Review aims to make motor racing easier to understand without dressing uncertainty up as fact. We explain our reasoning, check details before publication and make changes plainly when an article needs correction.
Accuracy and context
Writers should verify factual claims against dependable material appropriate to the subject and distinguish description from opinion. Racing terms and procedures can vary between series and events, so articles should say when an explanation has a limited scope rather than imply that one account applies everywhere.
Independence
Editorial decisions are made for readers, not to guarantee favourable coverage of a product, team or event. A contribution or commercial relationship does not determine an editorial conclusion, and any relevant relationship is disclosed where it could affect how readers understand the material.
Corrections
If you spot a factual error, write through the Contact page and identify the article and passage. We review correction requests, amend confirmed errors and make significant changes clear to readers; minor edits for spelling or clarity may not need a separate note.
Partner material and illustrations
Paid or partner content is labelled clearly so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial work. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; when that applies, the image is identified as such. Illustrations are not evidence that a depicted car, person, event or scene is real.
A race is made of many small decisions
The finish matters, but so do the circuit, the format and the calls made along the way. We take those parts one at a time.
